truggling to find a nutritious healthy snack? Reach for Wildwests All Natural Beef Jerky Nuggets. Available in three flavours, Beef Jerky Nuggets are eaten by explorers, ocean racers, sailors, bodybuilders and athletes. Made with quality prime beef you can be sure that Wildwest Beef Jerky Nuggets All Natural are the real thing - beware of cheap imitations!

Centuries ago the Indians of North America preserved buffalo meat by curing and smoking it while on the move. This dried meat had the name charqui, pronounced sharkey in Spanish. This means to pull or cut into long strips. Over the years the word changed and the meat became known as Jerky or jerked beef. In essence this is what Wildwest solid-strip Beef Jerky is - strips of lean top round steak, cured, smoked and flavoured. Moist and mouth watering.

These days, apart from tasting great, jerky is useful for all sorts of outdoor pursuits because it doesn't melt like chocolate, crush like crisps or turn in to mush like sandwiches. Yachtsmen use jerky as a source of meat that doesn't need a fridge. Bodybuilders like the low fat, high protein content. Kayakers, hillwalkers and anglers like it because it's delicious, lightweight and nutritious. Beef Jerky is becoming more and more popular as people realise the benefits of healthier eating and jerky's wholesome delicious tastes.

Benefits of Wildwest Beef Jerky include:

- High Protein Value - It takes 200g of beef to make 100g of jerky. With only around 3% fat, up to a whopping 50% protein and only 64 calories per serving, (25g) jerky is one of the healthiest snack foods on the market, perfect for the active outdoors person and weight watcher alike. What's more, jerky does not crush or melt like crisps or chocolate can under tough conditions while out and about.

- Low Fat Ratio - All visible fat is trimmed off the beef before making jerky. It is then marinated, cured and smoked.

- Quality Prime Beef - When you buy Wildwest jerky remember that it takes 200g of lean beef to make 100g of end product with these fantastic nutritional qualities, so you can see where the money goes. Wildwest Beef Jerky is made exclusively by EREL S.A. (M.G.A.P. Nr. 135), which is located two hours east of Montevideo, Uruguay, near the city Punta del Este. Erel S.A. has earned full approval for export of quality beef products from North-America (USDA), Japan, the European Community (EEC) and undergoes extensive in-house quality controls. Wildwest beef Jerky is packaged exclusively in Wildwest's EC approved plant (UK WA 039 EEC).
