ARMAGEDDON™ is one of the World's First Muscle Cell Storage Expansion System:

Our product research and development team at StarChem Labs™ developed Armageddon™ without playing "copycat" or "follow the leader". We set out to truly understand the mechanisms behind muscle expansion and the "PUMP" to create an entirely new product design that works much better than anything on the market. That is to say the number one goal for Armageddon is to drive fluids, amino acids and energy specific nutrients into trained muscle from outside the cell. By "fusing" an array of critical nutritional components necessary for hyperhydration, maximum vaso-stimulation and cellular energetics, the net result is the first commercially available product specifically designed to enhance Muscle Cell Storage Capacity (MCSC). This is a true innovation in the "PUMP" product category because it allows athletes to take full advantage of the anabolic stimulus of the "PUMP" while training, which leads to building new muscle year round, and in turn the ability to retain lean mass in the face of low-calorie dieting.
Armageddon Is Pure Fuel
# Unlike AAKG, Armageddon Consistently Delivers A Superior Pump with No Cycling Off.

Muscle Growth
# Immediately Increases Muscle Cell Volume By Stacking Osmotic Regulators with Nutrient Uptake Stimulators.

Massive Pump
# HydroTrans Is A Pharmaceutical Grade Glycerol Based HyperHydrating Transport Compound That Feeds Cell Volume. HydroTrans Is 7500% Stronger Than Glycerol Monostearate.

Performance Gains
# Train Harder, Heavier, And Longer With Armageddon's PUMP And GROW Formula.

Other pre-workout products are Arginine (AAKG) based. Armageddon is Glycerol based. The difference? All AAKG products require that you cycle off of them after 2-3 weeks, because the body rapidly builds a tolerance to AAKG thus rendering it ineffective. With Armageddon, there is no cycling off PERIOD. The harder you train and the more you hydrate, Armageddon will continue to deliver a sustained PUMP resulting in growth not capable from AAKG products.

To sum it up: When You need endless amounts of power…You need Armageddon!

Armageddon Chart Compared To Other AAKG products

HydroTrans Technology

HydroTrans™ is a unique, one-of-a-kind hyperhydration nutrient partitioning matrix. In fact, it's so unique and superior to any other pump products on the market by itself that it's being called the most incredible breakthrough in nutrient biochemistry this decade! The ingredients in HydroTrans™ actually force more water into your muscles allowing them to expand further than ever before. In turn, this expansion allows the muscle building nutrients circulating in your blood stream to flood muscle cells with greater amounts of nutrients than ever before possible. What this means to you is that you have more fuel and substrates to increase muscle size and strength quicker than you've ever known. By itself, HydroTrans™ will give you a better pump than nearly all NO products on the market, but when combined with the nitric oxide enhancing nutrients in Armageddon™ you get the most powerful and most effective NO booster/pump catalyst on the planet!
Armageddon Ingredients

Vitamin B6- Vitamin B6 is a water-soluble vitamin which means that it dissolves in water and the body cannot store it. Leftover amounts of the vitamin leave the body through the urine. That means you need a continuous supply of such vitamins in your diet. Vitamin B6 helps the immune system produce antibodies. Vitamin B6 helps maintain normal nerve function and form red blood cells. The body uses it to help break down proteins so the more protein you eat, the more vitamin B6 you need. Vitamin B6 is found in beans, nuts, legumes, eggs, meats, fish, whole grains, and fortified breads and cereals.

Vitamin B12- Like Vitamin B6, Vitamin B12 is another water-soluble vitamin and must be supplied through your diet. Typically, water-soluble vitamins can not be stored by the body but Vitamin B12 is different because the body can store it for years in the liver. Because of this, vitamin B12 deficiency is very rare. Vitamin B12, like the other B vitamins, is important for metabolism, helps in the formation of red blood cells and in the maintenance of the central nervous system. Vitamin B12 is found in eggs, meat, poultry, shellfish, milk, and milk products.

Magnesium- Magnesium is an essential mineral for human nutrition and serves several important metabolic functions in the body. It plays a role in the production and transport of energy and it's important for the contraction and relaxation of muscles. Magnesium is also involved in the synthesis of proteins and assists in the functioning of certain enzymes in the body. Most dietary magnesium comes from vegetables, particularly dark green, leafy vegetables. Other foods that are good sources of magnesium are soy products, such as soy flour and tofu, legumes and seeds, nuts (such as almonds and cashews), whole grains (such as brown rice and millet) and fruits or vegetables (such as bananas, dried apricots, and avocados).

Phosphorus- Phosphorus is a mineral that makes up 1% of a person's total body weight. It is present in every cell of the body, but most of the phosphorus in the body is found in the bones and teeth. The main function of phosphorus is in the formation of bones and teeth. It plays an important role in the body's utilization of carbohydrates and fats and in the synthesis of protein for the growth, maintenance, and repair of cells and tissues. It also is crucial for the production of ATP, a molecule the body uses to store energy. Phosphorus works with the B vitamins and also assists in the contraction of muscles, in the functioning of kidneys, in maintaining the regularity of the heartbeat, and in nerve conduction. The main food sources are the protein food groups of meat and milk. A diet that provides calcium and protein also provides an adequate amount of phosphorus. Fruits and vegetables contain only small amounts of phosphorus.

Sodium- Sodium is an element that the body needs to function properly. The body uses sodium to regulate blood volume and it is also critical for the functioning of muscles and nerves. Sodium occurs naturally in most foods but the most common form of sodium is sodium chloride, table salt. Milk, beets, and celery also naturally contain sodium, as does drinking water, although the amount varies depending on the source. Sodium is also added to various food products and can be in the form of monosodium glutamate, sodium nitrite, sodium saccharin, baking soda (sodium bicarbonate), and sodium benzoate. These are ingredients in condiments and seasonings such as Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, onion salt, garlic salt, and bouillon cubes.

Micronized Creatine Monohydrate/Creatine Citrate- Creatine is nitrogenous organic acid that occurs naturally in vertebrates and helps to supply energy to muscle and nerve cells. Creatine was identified in 1832 when Michel Eugene Chevreul discovered it as a component of skeletal muscle, which he later named creatine after the Greek word for flesh, Kreas. Creatine by way of conversion to and from phosphocreatine is present and functions in all vertebrates, as well as some invertebrates, in conjunction with the enzyme creatine kinase. The presence of this energy buffer system keeps the ATP/ADP ratio high at subcellular places where ATP is needed, which ensures that the free energy of ATP remains high and minimizes the loss of adenosine nucleotides, which would cause cellular dysfunction. Such high-energy phosphate buffers in the form of phosphocreatine are known as phosphagens. In addition, due to the presence of sub compartmentalized Creatine Kinase Isoforms at specific sites of the cell, the phosphocreatine/creatine kinase system also acts as an intracellular energy transport system from those places where ATP is generated (mitochondria and glycolysis) to those places where energy is needed and used, e.g., at the myofibrils for muscle contraction, at the sarcoplasmic reticulum (SR) for calcium pumping, and at the sites of many more biological processes that depend on ATP. In the human body, approximately half of the daily creatine is biosynthesized mainly in the vertebrates by the use of parts from three different amino acids, arginine, glycine and methionine. The rest is taken in by alimentary sources mainly from fresh fish and meat. Ninety-five percent of creatine is later stored in the skeletal muscles, with the rest in the brain, heart, testes, inner-ear hair cells, and other organs and cells.

L-Leucine- Leucine (abbreviated as Leu or L) is an ?-amino acid with the chemical formula HO2CCH(NH2)CH2CH(CH3)2. It is an essential amino acid, which means that humans cannot synthesize it. With a hydrocarbon side chain, leucine is classified as a hydrophobic amino acid. L-Leucine comprises about eight percent of the total amino acid count in your body's protein and is the forth most concentrated amino acid in skeletal muscle tissue. As one of the three BCAA's, L-Leucine is essential to your health and has many performance enhancing applications.

L-Leucine has many beneficial effects on sports performance. It helps preserve lean muscle tissue, supplies the body with energy when engaging in athletic activity, preserves muscle glycogen and maintains nitrogen balance. It also works to heal bone, skin and muscle tissue. Additionally, L-Leucine may increase HGH - Human Growth Hormone secretion, which may lead to healthier joints, slow and possibly reverse the ageing process, decrease body fat and increase strength and muscle mass.

Taurine- A conditionally essential amino acid that is naturally produced by the body becomes essential during specific situations. High stress and physical exertion are two of the conditions that cause the body to utilize higher levels of taurine and it may be hard to replenish your bodies stores by eating alone. Taurine is utilized in many vital bodily functions such as cell volumization and as a powerful antioxidant. It is also involved in vision, brain, nervous system and cardiac functions.

L-Arginine- L-arginine is an amino acid that has numerous functions in the body. It helps the body get rid of ammonia (a waste product), is used to make compounds in the body such creatine, L-glutamate, and L-proline, and can be converted to glucose and glycogen if needed. L-arginine is used to make the nitric oxide, a compound in the body that relaxes blood vessels. Studies have found that L-arginine increases vasodilation, which enhances nutrient delivery. By increasing nitric oxide, l-arginine helps to reduce blood vessel stiffness, increase blood flow, and improve blood vessel function. L-arginine is also involved in protein formation and in larger amounts, stimulates the release of hormones growth hormone and prolactin.

L-Tyrosine- L-tyrosine is a nonessential amino acid that the body synthesizes from phenylalanine. Tyrosine is important to the structure of almost all proteins in the body. It is also the precursor of several neurotransmitters, including l-dopa, dopamine, norepinephrine, and epinephrine. L-tyrosine is converted into thyroid hormones, which have a role in many processes in the body.

Guanipro (guanadino propionic acid)- GPA is an endogenous metabolite found in animals and humans. This compound has been extensively studied in creatine metabolism and GABA receptor functions. GPA has been clinically tested in numerous studies and has been shown to increase endurance, stamina and exercise capcity. GPA accomplishes this by enhancing insulin sensitivity while preventing hyperinsulinemia. It also enhances the utilization of carbohydrates and storage of glycogen, increases nutrient absorption and decreases the storage of fat while increasing fat utilization for energy. All of these factors lead to increases in endurance, stamina and exercise capacity.

Caffeine Anhydrous- Chemically known as trimethylxanthine, caffeine is a compound made up of four of the most common elements: carbon, hydrogen, nitrogen and oxygen. Caffeine is a central nervous system (CNS) stimulant. It is one of the best-tested ergogenic aids and is known to help athletes train harder and longer. It also stimulates the brain and contributes to clearer thinking and greater concentration.

There are more than 70 studies on the utilization of caffeine for both endurance exercise and short-term, high intensity exercise. The vast majority conclude that caffeine does indeed enhance performance and makes the effort seem easier. The average improvement in performance is about 12 percent, with greater benefits noticed during endurance exercise. In research studies, the amount of caffeine that enhances performance ranges from 1.5 to 4 mg/lb body weight taken one hour before exercise. For a 150 lb person, this comes to about 225 to 600 mg with more not necessarily giving better results.

Caffeine has been shown to safely improve many of the mental functions necessary to be successful in athletics like speeding up reaction time, improving processing skills, increasing alertness and the ability to concentrate. Furthermore, caffeine is known to increase the utilization of free fatty acids by the muscles enhancing endurance and fat burning while sparing muscle glycogen.

One of the major myths against athletes using caffeine is that caffeine causes dehydration. This has recently been put to the test found to be false. Previously, urine was collected only at 2 and 4 hour periods and caffeine did increase urine output in these time frames. In this study 24 hour urine volume was measured. Subjects were found to have no detrimental effects of caffeine on 24-hour urine volume, meaning that by day's end, the urine losses were similar whether the person consumed no caffeine or a high dose.

L-Isoleucine- L-Isoleucine is one of three branched chain amino acids (BCAAs). These BCAAs are found in proteins of all forms of life. They can be obtained in the diet through animal and vegetable sources. L-Isoleucine is important in hemoglobulin synthesis and in the regulation of blood sugar and energy levels. It also increases endurance. L-Isoleucine is an isomer of Leucine and is metabolized in muscle tissue. Rich sources of L-isoleucine include cashews, almonds, and soy protein.

L-Valine- L-Valine is involved in glucose metabolism, protein synthesis, and the regulation of the immune system. As with the other BCAAs, L-valine could be involved in muscle growth and tissue repair, and stimulant activity. There is some evidence that L-valine is involved in muscle metabolism, the maintenance of nitrogen balance in the body, and exercise recovery time.

Beta Alanine- Supplementing with beta-alanine can increase carnosine levels by up to 65%. The longer it is used the greater the increased carnosine. Carnosine is a very powerful buffer of lactic acid and this increase makes a powerful intracellular buffer. It is this large increase in buffering capacity within our muscles that is largely responsible for the strength, lean body mass, power and muscular endurance gains that researchers are seeing from beta-alanine studies. By increasing carnosine through beta alanine supplementation, our type 2 muscle fibers can soak up more hydrogen and stay in an optimal pH range. By keeping our type 2 muscle fibers in an optimal pH range, they are better able to maintain maximal strength and endurance throughout your workout session and bring on new muscle gains.

Histidine- Histidine is an essential amino acid and is metabolized into the neurotransmitter histamine and the set of genes that produce the enzymes responsible for histidine synthesis. It is needed for growth and for the repair of tissue, as well as the maintenance of the myelin sheaths that act as protector for nerve cells. It is further required for the manufacture of both red and white blood cells, and helps to protect the body from damage caused by radiation and in removing heavy metals from the body. In the stomach, histidine is also helpful in producing gastric juices and people with a shortage of gastric juices or suffering from indigestion, may also benefit from this nutrient.

Proline- Proline is an amino acid needed for the production of collagen and cartilage. It keeps muscles and joints flexible and helps reduce sagging and wrinkling that accompany UV exposure and normal aging of the skin. Proline helps the body break down proteins for use in creating healthy cells in the body. It is absolutely essential to the development and maintenance of healthy skin and connective tissues. The body needs proline to maintain muscle tissue as well. Decreases in proline levels have been noted in prolonged endurance runners and others following prolonged exercise. Serious athletes that subject their body to routine, rigorous workouts may want to take a supplement containing proline in order to avoid loosing muscle mass-the body begins to cannibalize its muscle for energy when glucose supplies run low.

Cinnulin (cinnamon extract)- Cinnulin is a patented water soluble cinnamon extract that has been shown to improve body composition. Results show that subjects in the Cinnulin group noted statistically significant increases in lean body mass.

Rhodiola Rosea Extract- Siberian Rhodiola rosea root extract may increase the bioelectrical activity of the brain which supports memory and brain energy. Siberian Rhodiola rosea accelerates the recovery processes after training or workouts. It also stimulates muscle energy status; glycogen synthesis in muscles and liver; muscle protein synthesis and anabolic activity. Siberian Rhodiola rosea extract activates the lipolytic processes (fat breakdown) and mobilizes lipids fromadipose tissue to the natural fat burning system of your body for weight reduction.

Vinpocetine- Vinpocetine is a derivative of Vincamine. It facilitates cerebral metabolism by improving blood flow to the brain, boosting brain cell ATP production, and increasing utilization of glucose and oxygen by neurons. Vinpocetine increases the production of Noradrenaline and Dopamine, contributing, in this way, to the release of Serotonin and the concentration of Acetylcholine. Research has shown that the effects of this compound go beyond mere prevention and turn it into a powerful memory enhancer.

Maltodextrin/CarboxyMethylCellulose Complex- Maltodextrin is a moderately sweet polysaccharide used as a source of carbohydrates, produced from starch. Maltodextrin is easily digestible, being absorbed as rapidly as glucose. We use a form of maltodextrin that has a very low dextrose equivalent to provide a quick absorbing carbohydrate source without a sugar derived insulin spike. The carboxymethylcellulose combined with the maltodextrin gives a dual phase complex carbohydrate matrix to help further prevent any possible spike in insulin and a prolonged release of those carbohydrates into your system.

Glucose- Glucose is a monosaccharide or simple sugar. The living cell uses it as a source of energy and metabolic intermediate. Glucose is a ubiquitous fuel in biology and is used as an energy source in most organisms, from bacteria to humans. Carbohydrates are the human body's key source of energy, through aerobic respiration, providing approximately 4 calories of energy per gram. Breakdown of carbohydrates (e.g. starch) yields mono- and disaccharides, most of which is glucose. Through glycolysis and later in the reactions of the citric acid cycle (TCAC), glucose is oxidized to eventually form CO2 and water, yielding energy, mostly in the form of ATP. The insulin reaction, and other mechanisms, regulates the concentration of glucose in the blood.

Glycerol- Glycerol is a three-carbon molecule that normally serves as the backbone of a triacylglycerol molecule, which is the storage form of fat in the body. We therefore ingest a fairly large amount of glycerol (as part of dietary triacylglycerol) on a daily basis. Glycerol is also released into the bloodstream after the breakdown of fats occurs during fasting and exercise. Thus especially during exercise, when fat breakdown (lipolysis) is stimulated, we see elevated plasma glycerol concentrations. Glycerol has been studied as an ergogenic aid for two reasons. First it was believed to be a substrate for the production of blood glucose and as such could provide a fuel during exercise. This was proven not to be very efficient and the overall benefit of using glycerol for this reason was not advantageous. More recently, the probably more important role of glycerol became apparent. Glycerol is often advocated as a way to hyperhydrate prior to exercise in hot environmental conditions. Glycerol has been used as a hyperhydrating agent. When ingested with a substantial amount of water it has been found that glycerol improves water absorption and increases water retention in the extracellular space, especially in plasma. This may occur through two mechanisms. Firstly glycerol may move to the extracellular space and via osmosis draw water into this compartment. Glycerol then acts like a sponge. A second explanation is related to the effect on vasopressin or antidiuretic hormone (ADH). A small increase in the plasma osmolality may increase ADH secretion and hence urine production will be decreased.

Hyperhydration with glycerol prior to exercise has been shown to decrease overall heat stress during exercise as indicated by lower heart rate and body temperature. In some studies the reduced cardiovascular stress and decreased body temperature resulted in improved exercise performance. In 1987, it was shown that resting subjects drinking a glycerol solution retained 50% more fluid than when drinking a similar volume of water alone. This led to investigation of its ability to help prevent dehydration under extreme conditions of exercise, heat, and high humidity. A follow-up study in 1990 demonstrated that subjects pre-loaded with a glycerol solution did sweat at a greater rate with exercise (but remember they started out with an overall excess of total body water from the water retention effects). Overall they demonstrated a net positive effect on fluid balance (less plasma volume depletion) while maintaining a lower core body temperature (presumably a combination of more efficient circulation from the increased plasma volume and the higher rate of heat dissipation with perspiration). In 1992, 11 cyclists rode to exhaustion at 60% VO2 max. The group pre-hydrated with a glycerol/water mix compared to water alone improved their endurance by 22% (94 vs. 77 minutes). A repeat study using the same pre-hydration approach, but adding a replacement program (while riding) of water alone (for the pure water pre-hydration group) vs. a sports drink (for the glycerol pre-hydrated group) revealed an even greater advantage of 32% (93 minutes for water alone vs. 123 minutes with the glycerol and sports drink regimen). And this has been upheld with a third study which pre-hydrated one group with glycerol 1 hour before a ride at 60% VO2max. The glycerol pretreated group increased their time to exhaustion by 24%.

Fibersol II- A soluble dietary fiber with a very low viscosity, high solubility, low hygroscopicity and clarity in solution. Because it is high in naturally occurring chemical bonds that remain undigested in the digestive tract, it can provide many physiological benefits.

4-HydroxyIsoleucine- 4-hydroxyisoleucine is an amino acid derivative that assists the pancreas in production of insulin. Studies have shown that adding fenugreek to your diet reduces fasting blood sugars and improves after-meal glucose tolerance significantly. 4-hydroxyisoleucine works by two separate mechanisms: It has a direct, stimulating effect on insulin production for those who wish to increase their glucose metabolism and helps to reduce glucose resistance and the uptake of glucose, thereby reducing overall blood glucose levels. Several studies with animals and with human cell cultures demonstrate this extract's positive effect on reducing post meal glucose levels-with little or no increase in blood insulin concentrations- a clear indictor of improved insulin sensitivity.

Alpha Lipoic Acid- ALA is the only antioxidant that can boost cellular levels of glutathione, an antioxidant of tremendous importance in overall health and longevity and essential for the functioning of the immune system. White blood cells are particularly sensitive to changes in glutathione levels, and even subtle changes may have profound effects on the immune response. ALA helps regulate glucose metabolism. Sugar can be extremely damaging to our cells if it is not well controlled, as sugar can react with molecules within the cell in a permanent bond called glycation. Once these bonds between sugar and protein are formed, they become mini-factories for the generation of free radicals that can attack our cells and their mitochondria. Alpha lipoic acid helps prevent these damaging glycation reactions, while also increasing the cell's ability to utilize glucose. When taken orally as a supplement, ALA can concentrate in both the cell and mitochondrial lipid membranes, where it protects both from free radical damage. Alpha lipoic acid is especially protective to the mitochondria in nerve cells.

Chromium Polynicotinate- Chromium plays a role in the metabolism of glucose, and is necessary for energy production. It is also critical to the synthesis of cholesterol, fats, and proteins. Chromium polynicotinate is more effective than any other type of chromium, as it binds the elemental chromium to niacin (vitamin B-3). This provides a biologically active form of chromium, which is more absorbable in the body.

FAQ'S:

Q: How is Armageddon different than other AAKG pump products?
A: Armageddon is a glycerol based pre workout product and does not contain any AAKG. The human body begins to develop a tolerance to AAKG requiring users to cycle off these products periodically in order to achieve the Pump they received with there first use. Armageddon will provide you with the same Pump with every single use.

Q: How is it more effective than 9 grams of AAKG?
A: A clinical trial done at a well known research facility, yielded single dose results proving Armageddon is 400% more effective than 9g of AAKG.
Here are the facts of the study:
# 8 subjects (men who had been weight training for at least 2 years)
# Completed 2 trials in counterbalanced order: Armageddon (3 scoops vs. 9g AAKG (arginine alphaketoglutarate).
# 24 hour diet and physical activity patterns reproduced exactly prior to reporting for each trial.
# After obtaining a baseline estimate of lean mass via DEXA, subjects ingested either Armageddon or AAKG.
# Waited nearly 30 minutes for ingredients to reach near peak levels in blood.
# Weight load, sets, reps, rest periods, & tempo of execution all held constant form one trial to the next.
# Immediately had follow-up DEXA for estimate of change in lean mass.

Q:For my body's frame how many scoops should I take?
A: The recommended serving for Armageddon is 2 scoops. With that being said, it is not dependent on body type or size. Consumers may wish to increase/decrease this amount depending on tolerance to stimulants and certain ingredients.

For example:

If you are sensitive to stimulants or ingredients and the recommended two scoops seems too powerful for you, reduce to one scoop and work up to 1 and 1/2 and so forth.
*We suggest not going above 3 scoops.
Although Armageddon contains less caffeine (approx. one small Starbuck's coffee worth) than rival AAKG products, anything over three scoops would be a large caffeine intake.
*For Maximum Effects: Please mix with recommended water to scoop ratio and stay hydrated throughout your workout*

Q: Should I take the product on off days?
A: Intake of product on non-training is an option. We leave it up to the consumer as to whether or not to. Please keep in mind that if you do take on non-training days it will keep our cutting edge ingredients at easily accessible levels in your system and will keep them working even though you are not training. And remember, amino uptake is always beneficial.

Q: Can I mix the product with juice or just water?
A: Again we suggest water, however; this is completely up to the consumer. If they wish to mix the powder with a juice in order to increase carbohydrates please feel free. *Personal Suggestion: Choose juice wisely, combination with mix will affect flavor.*

Q: How much caffeine is in each scoop of Armageddon?
A: The amount of caffeine in Armageddon is equivalent to one cup of regular coffee from Starbucks. This is important b/c many pump products on the market today are loaded with caffeine, and at higher doses caffeine can impair insulin sensitivity. Armageddon contains less caffeine than its major competitors and includes several ingredients that help insulin action. This explains why ARMA seems to work better the longer you use it. This dosage should not give the jitters unless you have caffeine sensitivity.

Q: How much water should I take with Armageddon?
A: You should be ingesting a lot of water throughout the day period, but we do recommend a large water intake with Armageddon because of several reasons. 1) The more water, the better the pump 2) The drink will be easier to drink and will taste better 3) It will help hydrate your body longer. To answer the question, mix 10-14 oz of water per scoop of Armageddon. Everybody is different so please find that level you like and continue to use the same amount of water.

Q: Do you build a tolerance to Armageddon like you do with AAKG products and require to cycle off?
A: No you do need to cycle off Armageddon. You will get the same pump and delivery of ingredients day 1, day 50, day 300. As long as you're hydrated you will get the pump with every use of Armageddon.
