When we set out to create CREATINE+, we knew we wanted to use micronized creatine monohydrate, but many other companies are doing the same. We wanted to make sure our product offered more, and was unique.

Instead of hyping up fancy-sounding forms of creatine that are no more effective than monohydrate, we decided to focus on what we could include with creatine monohydrate to make it more effective, and to give you more for your money.

Let’s take a look at the formulation.

CREATINE MONOHYDRATE

Creatine is a substance found naturally in the body and in foods like red meat. It is perhaps the most researched dietary supplement in the world of sports nutrition–the subject of over 200 studies.

Research has shown that supplementation with creatine can:

Improve anaerobic endurance.[5][6][7][8][9[10]

The most common clinical program for creatine supplementation is a loading period, followed by 3-5 grams per day.[21]

FENUGREEK EXTRACT

Fenugreek is a plant commonly used in Indian food dishes, and its extract is used for health and fitness supplementation.

Research has shown that supplementation with fenugreek extract can:

Increase testosterone levels, and reduce estrogen levels.[22]
Improve insulin sensitivity.[23][24][25][26][27][28]
Enhance libido.[29]
Increase muscular uptake of creatine when taken in combination with it.[30] This eliminates the need for consuming excessive amounts of simple carbohydrates to improve creatine uptake.
While many people have heard of fenugreek extract’s ability to affect hormones, what they don’t know is only a special type of extract has demonstrated this benefit: a patented form that contains a large amount of fenusides, which are the molecules responsible for the libido and testosterone boost.

Unlike other companies that use cheaper extracts and claim unfounded benefits, we use the proper, more expensive type of extract that has high fenusides, and thus can actually have a positive effect on libido and testosterone levels.

The clinically effective dosages of fenugreek extract cited in the studies cited above range between 200 – 900 mg per day.

CREATINE+ tastes great, and is naturally sweetened and flavored.

We’ve chosen to stay on the safe side and use the natural sweetener stevia, instead.

Many creatine drinks contain artificial dyes, known as “azo dyes,” such as FD&C Yellow #5 (also known as tartrazine), FD&C Blue #1 (also known as Brilliant Blue), FD&C Red No. 40 (also known as Allura Red AC), and others.

Like artificial sweeteners, consumption of azo dyes might not be as harmful as some claim, but there is evidence that these chemicals can cause various negative effects in the body. [41][42][43][44][45][46][47][48][49][50][51]

CREATINE+ contains absolutely no “label stuffing” ingredients.

We have a simple standard that we live by: every active ingredient we use must be backed by published scientific literature, and must be included at clinically effective dosages.





Suggested Use: You should base your use of CREATINE+ on the most commonly used clinical protocol:

For the first 5 - 7 days, 20 grams of creatine (4 servings of CREATINE+) should be taken daily, as this rapidly increases your body’s total creatine content and storage.[1][2]
After the “loading” phase, a maintenance dose of 5 grams of creatine (one serving) is taken each day to keep muscle creatine levels elevated, and to receive a clinically effective dose of fenugreek extract as well.[1]
